Girls Hostel

Genre: Drama

Presented by : Girliyappa

No. of episodes: 5

I as usual was doing what I am good at- surfing the Net for long hours when I decided to open YouTube. I know it is a big waste of time to watch videos and stuff. But this is the place where I make my accidental discoveries as well. Majority of the accidental discoveries are too good that you just can’t keep yourself from it. Girls Hostel was one such revelation.

It revolves around the lives of dental and medical students in a hostel. The main protagonist in the series is Richa, a dental student. She is the narrator of the series. The series revolves around the various incidents which take place in a hostel. For instance: sneaking out of the hostel past the deadlines or catching the thief who steal things. I am sure even you guys who might have resided in a hostel would have indulged in such mischief.

I loved the series but it ended up way too soon. Also the story shifted its course completely in the end. What was supposed to be the story of life of dental and medical students ended up being the revelation of the reasons why Jo and Zahira the two supporting characters who do not talk to each other.

Srishti Srivastva as Jo is at top of her game. Also Simran Natekar as Milli adds a touch of comedy to the series. So overall the series is fun as it explores friendship, fights, romance and comic. Do tell me your views in the comments section as well. Also do tell me about your memorable moments of the hostel life if you have any.

Happy watching guys and gals!!!
