“A woman is the full circle . Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.”

Another week and another amazing surprise . I am extremely sorry if there’s been any delay on my part. Sorry, its just that sometimes I get too busy with my multiple ventures that I simply delay on this front. This actually might be disappointing to my readers and subscribers. But maybe I can try to deliver quickly by becoming more efficient. That I will promise to try to work upon. After all , if you are not going to be your best version, then who else will be ? Right ? If you are not going to better yourself and push yourself out of your comfort zone; then who will? This is a question that we all need to keep asking ourselves right?
Okay, so coming to my latest pick in the fantastic world of books- a story of a fearless lady who took on whatever challenges life threw her and emerged successful. A tale of empathy, courage, passion and most importantly commitment to her work whether in uniform or life after that. A story which serves as an inspiration to all the young girls and women out there. Yes, the book I am talking about is the autobiography of India’s first female IPS officer- Kiran Bedi which goes by the name I Dare!
About the book : The autobiography chronicles the life Kiran Bedi has lived till date. This includes stories right from her childhood to how she became the country’s first female IPS officer; the challenges she faced in the uniform as well as the opportunities she received in the uniform. She also talks about life after uniform. Her story and inbuilt traits are narrated through third person references . This includes some inmates , some officers she worked with and most importantly the press through various newspaper articles.

It talks about the challenges as well as the opportunities she had while serving the uniform. It also speaks of her traits which helped her to grow as a person as well as helped her to face the challenges she encountered in her professional as well as personal life. So, in short you get to know her personality in and out while serving in the uniform and thereafter. Read it to know about the incidents which shaped her life.
Verdict:This one is amongst India’s best seller with over 100000 copies sold . This one can be a classic example of how your commitment and passion can help you face anything in life. If you are lacking motivation or passion to have your work done, this will surely fire you up. Hats off to the guts of this lady who just listened to her inner voice and did not succumb to any type of temptation or pressure. Also, read it to know the functioning of various institutions; read it to find several useful insights as regards to governance and have yourselves fired up. So, do grab your copies quickly as this one is a complete thumbs up from me.
