” The true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamer.”
Nolan Bohnell
How many of us have actually have the dream of doing something which will help fuel our own dreams and not someone else’s dream ? A majority of us do but how many actually are ready to take the plunge ? A very few. A lot of us are of the opinion what if things don’t go as they are planned? What if I have to get out of my comfort zone ? What if the sense of security which we are enjoying with our current jobs that gets lost? But we often forget or kill our dreams for a sense of security which is false.
Being an entrepreneur is not an easy task. It requires a lot of dedication, hardwork, struggle , ability to think out of the box , problem solving skills and lot more. Even though it is not an easy job, but it is rewarding in the long run. The reason why I am talking about this is simple- my latest pick talks about the journey of a man who took a leap of faith from being a civil engineer to being a big name in the field of construction.
Thus, presenting to you my latest pick in the awesome world of books- Pithai te Phikwe.

Anil Patel, the person on whom the book is based on was a small town boy. His father was a state Government servant while his mother was a housewife. He had a huge family which consisted of 4 brothers and 2 sisters . He started his journey as a civil engineer at Gujarat State Regional State Transport and then went on to undertake a transition from India to Botswana to become a big name in the field of construction. He faced a lot of challenges in his work but it was his sheer drive and motivation from his father which helped him through all of this.
Analysis: This book tries to portray the life of a simple village boy who started his journey from a small village in Gujarat and then went on to become a big name in Botswana. He did not have any experience as such in business. But he had two things which kept him moving- his sheer drive and his ability along with his father’s motivational words which kept him motivated and helped him establish himself in a country which was not known to him.
